My Trip to Transcarpathian Ukraine (Zakarpattia)

Last year, 2013, I spent a month staying and living with my relatives in their village outside Uzhgorod. I’ve written this blog describing my trip and experiences in Zakarpattia. I’ve also included hundreds of photos I hope you will enjoy, as well as some video and audio recordings of Rusyn folk songs and Prostopinije “plainchant” hymns from Greek Catholic services. I will be returning to Ukraine in September, this time for a 3 month stay, and I will continue writing and posting photo’s.

New Years and Christmas in Uzhgorod

Sorry I haven't kept up with my blog; I've slowly been recovering from my experience with septic shock and heart failure.

My cousin Misha Maksimovich sent my quite a few photos of their New Year and Christmas celebrations. I'm posting them here. Sorry I don't have time to comment on them - I will come back and do that later.

HELP!!!!!

I have been trying to get help to change my "Archived Articles" list. "Archives are listed by "Date". This is useless. Readers don't want to search through 200 pages to find my article on "Lviv".

I am willing to pay anyone who can help me list my past archived articles by "title" rather than date.

I have been asking Google for help for months. It is useless. All the help on the internet is for outdated versions of Blogspot, plus I don't know code.
