Feast Day of the Most Holy Mother of God, celebration in Dravtsi

I recorded audio of the Choir; will load later. Here are some photos in the meantime.

The choir:

The girl on the far right is Klara's granddaughter Katya.

Klara, Marta, Marta's son-in-law Julius (Yusiy) in white shirt:

Natalia and Pavlo's daughter, Annichka:

Marta's daughter-in-law, Natasha:

Natalia, her husband Pavlo, and Natalia's father (and Marta's son) Misha:

After the procession, a variety of cookies were set out for everyone. Many were baked by Klara. Below, the women who did the baking:

Once the Church festival was over, we had a huge lunch at Klara's house:

Once we were done eating, we went to Marta's for more food. Below, Annichka and her cousin. Annichka is holding a stuffed rabbit I just got for her. Last year, I gave her a stuffed lamb; her mother Natalia told me that Annichka has slept with the lamb every night since then.

Left to right: Pavlo's father, Misha, and Misha's wife Natasha:

Marta with baby Nasty (Anastasia). Nasty is Marta's great-granddaughter. Her parents are Kolya and Maryanka. Maryanka is daughter of Tanya, Marta's daughter.

Klara's son Misha Maksimovich's sister-in-law, with her son Lubomir:

The girl wearing glasses is Marta's daughter Tanya. Hard to believe, but Tanya is a grandmother.

Far left, Julius (Yusiy) is Tanya's husband. Yusiy is a great big happy & friendly Rusyn bear!
Tried some of Pavlo's "samohon", or homemade moonshine. Samohon is a type of "horilka". The word "horilka" comes from the word "hority", meaning to burn. Samohon, which is 60% alcohol, burns! One shot was more than enough!!!

Left to right, Pavlo's sister; she is a Urologist. Her husband, a Neurologist; Pavlo, and his wife Natalia.

Children playing with Nasty:

Mariana and Josef Paik's granddaughter and her husband:

Below, Tanya's daughter Maryanka and her husband Kolya (Nikolai).

Natasha's daughter (Marta's granddaughter) Martuchka, with little Nasty; Marta on right:
